I made it through week 2 of Slimming World and despite a ridiculously over indulgent weekend (that actually started on Thursday), I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped on the scales.
The usual self-sabotage was afoot and I felt like giving up a few times – mostly when I was in the throws of my first post pregnancy hangover BUT as of Monday things were back on track. I did want to scream when I was faced with more fruit for breakfast though.
So, there’s nothing really in my way this week (other than my self). Three weeks after my section I’m still not allowed to start running but I have been given the go-ahead to build up my fitness levels by walking.
I’m working on my running playlist – clearly this is the most important thing. I’ve also bought some new workout gear. Aaaaand I sound like a vacuous airhead. Meh.
Moving on: I lost 2.5lbs which means I’m a mere 0.5lb off my first stone; I’m delighted and I really want to make sure I stay 100% on plan to smash through into the next one.
As always, I’ve had fantastic support from our private little Facebook group and inspiration from the likes of Instagram. The problem is when you spend an extortionate amount of time looking at pictures of food, you end up starving all the time!
